UNION COUNTY – Union County College (UCC) will be hosting orientation sessions this summer for students who are going to be starting classes at UCC this fall and for those who may still be interested in enrolling for the fall semester. The orientation sessions will be held in July and August and attendees are encouraged to come to the session which best fits their schedule.
The sessions will be held on Tuesday, July 20, at 3:30 p.m. on the college’s Plainfield campus at 232 E. Second Street; on Wednesday, July 28, at 3:30 p.m. at the college’s Elizabeth campus at 40 W. Jersey Street; and on the college’s Cranford campus at 1033 Springfield Avenue on Thursday, August 12, at 8:30 a.m. and on Saturday, August 28, at 9:30 a.m.
Each session will begin with a campus fair, which will provide students and their parents with the opportunity to meet with representatives of academic departments, student organizations, and administrative departments and to learn more about Union County College. The orientation session will provide new students with the opportunity to meet their future classmates, to learn about student activities, to tour the campus, to learn about the counseling and tutoring services available at UCC, and a chance to begin to explore career paths.
To attend any of the above sessions, RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org or call 1-908-709-7518. All orientation sessions are free; however, RSVPs are recommended.
