July 10 at 1:08 a.m. – Police responded to a report of armed men at the 300 block of McCandless Street. The suspects attempted to flee police, but stopped when ordered at gunpoint.

Scott A. Reddick, 31, was charged with possession of a handgun, possession of hollow point ammunition and receiving stolen property. His bail was set at $75,000. Jamion T. Fenner, 30, was charged with possession of a handgun and his bail was set at $50,000. Kevin M. Williams, 24, was also charged with possession of a handgun, and his bail was set at $25,000. All three men are residents of Linden. The fourth man, Fuquan Copeland, 27, of Rahway, was charged with possession of drugs. His bail was set at $12,500.

July 11 at 10:05 p.m. – Police responded to a reported robbery at the 7 Days Deli, 100 E. St. Georges Avenue. The owner, 47, reported being punched and kicked by three men, who stole the cash out of the register and fled the store. The victim was treated for minor injuries at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Rahway. Anyone with information about the crime is asked to contact Det. Andrew Spano or Det.
