Passport Fees Set To Increase

STATE – Federal passport fees are due to increase on Tuesday.

The adjusted fees are necessary to cover the actual operating expenses for the 301 overseas consular posts, 23 domestic passport agencies and other centers that provide these consular services to U.S. and foreign citizens, officials said.

The current $75 fee for adult applicants will rise to $110; the fee for minors will increase from $60 to $80.
