June 29 at 12:29 p.m. – At the Union Police Department, Det. Alex Yanes arrested Rahway resident Vincent DeSarno, 34, on an outstanding warrant for contempt of court.  He was subsequently transported to the Union County Jail.

July 2 at 8:57 a.m. – Officer Pat Grady investigated a report of a burglary to two motor vehicles, which were parked at an Amelia Drive residence.

July 2 at 9:36 a.m. – Officer Terrance Harrison investigated a report of a theft of landscaping equipment at 16 Wendell Place.

July 2 at 4:05 p.m. – Officer Terrance Harrison investigated a report of a burglary to a motor vehicle, which was parked at a Stemmer Drive residence.

July 2 at 7:52 p.m. – Officer Joseph Mirabile investigated a report of a theft of a motor vehicle from a parking lot at 45 Central Avenue.

July 3 at 9:35 a.m. – In the vicinity of 186 Westfield Avenue, police arrested Rahway resident Yuhanna Williams, 27, on outstanding warrants from Bloomfield, Roseland and Weehawken for contempt of court.  He was subsequently released after posting bail.
