CARTERET – The Carteret Public Library’s children’s department is planning a grand opening event for the summer reading program on Monday, July 12. The noon event will be held at the Carteret Fire Station, 240 Roosevelt Avenue.
On Wednesday, the library will screen the films “Nim’s Island” and “Sweet Home Alabama,” from 1:30 – 6 p.m.
Children can sign up for the library’s summer reading program from Tuesday, July 6 through Thursday, July 8 between 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. and Friday, July 9 between 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
