Marcin Earns Degree

BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Melissa F. Marcin, daughter of Chad and Debra Marcin of Clark, graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. degree with a major in graphic design from Moravian College, Bethlehem, Pa.

During her college career, Marcin earned academic dean’s list standing and was inducted into Omicron Delta Kappa national honorary society for scholarship and leadership and Kappa Pi international honorary art society. She is listed in Who’s Who Among Students In American Universities and Colleges. Furthermore, her art and logo designs have been nominated for several awards.


In addition to her academic endeavors, Marcin served as a United Student Government senator, and was co-director of Studio South student run in-house design studio. She actively participated in Campus Community Connection, the Women’s Golf Club, and intramural indoor soccer. Marcin was a member of the Senior Gift Committee.

She is a graduate of Arthur L. Johnson High School, Clark.

Moravian College is a private, coeducational, selective liberal arts college located in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Tracing its founding to 1742, it is recognized as America’s sixth-oldest college.
