Lakewood Game Suspended

SALISBURY, Md. – The Lakewood BlueClaws had the first game of the second half of the season rained out Thursday night against the Delmarva Shorebirds.

The first half Northern Division Champion BlueClaws were batting in the top of the third with one out in a 0-0 game, when play was suspended due to rain. Alan Schoenberger was up with an 0-1 count.


Play will resume from that point tomorrow at 4:35 pm as the first game of a doubleheader. The second game will start 30 minutes later and will only be seven innings long.

Jonathan Pettibone (2-2, 5.29) will get the start for Lakewood against Delmarva LHP Nate Moreau (2-2, 2.98).
