LINDEN – Nine cars were burglarized overnight between June 23 and 24 in the Sunnyside section of Linden, near the border of Roselle, according to police.
Several of the vehicles had been left unlocked, and there was no damage reported. Glove compartments were ransacked and two GPS units were stolen, according to police.
Authorities are advising residents to keep car doors locked, remove valuables from their vehicles, and activate car alarms if their vehicles have them. Police are also asking residents to report any suspicious people or activity.
