Cathedral International Announces Holy Convocation Event

PERTH AMBOY— A time of celebration, honor and worship are planned for the 2010 Holy Convocation at Cathedral International, according to Bishop Donald Hilliard, Jr., is the senior pastor and convocation host.

The theme for this year is Kingdom Gathering. “It’s always important to stop and give God thanks publicly for continuing to smile on his people. Holy Convocation gives us an opportunity to do just that! We are bringing together his kingdom to celebrate the magnitude of what God continues to do for and through the more than 5000 members and numerous friends of Cathedral International. It also proves to be a favorite time for our ministry sons and daughters that have relocated to return home to join in the celebration and to share their love for their home church,” shares Hilliard.

The weeklong celebration will touch all of Cathedral International’s locations. Rev. Joanne Noel of Cathedral International will be the guest speaker at the Plainfield location on Monday, while at the Asbury Park location, Rev. Jacqueline McCullough, senior pastor of The International Gathering at Beth Rapha will be speaking.

Tuesday evening, Bishop Earl Jenkins, senior pastor of True Servant Worship and Praise Church will be the special guest at the Asbury Park location.  Wednesday night will launch the celebration at the main campus in Perth Amboy with Bishop Donald Hilliard, Jr. speaking followed by Bishop Mark Chironna, of The Master’s Touch International Church in Orlando, Florida, on Thursday and Pastor Claudette Copeland of New Creation Christian Fellowship in San Antonio, Texas on Friday.

Presenting opportunities for all areas of life, Holy Convocation 2010 will also feature networking breakfasts, mid-day workshops and a round table discussion focusing on the current state of the church.  Friday night will commence with a late night Praise Jam featuring local choirs after the evening service.

Holy Convocation 2010 is expected to attract more than 6,000 people over the course of five days. Registration is complimentary with the exception of the networking breakfasts which are being hosted for a nominal fee. Registration information is available online at
