American International College Awards Degrees At 124th Commencement

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. — American International College awarded more than 630 undergraduate and graduate degrees at the college’s 124th commencement. The event was held May 17 at the MassMutual Center in Springfield.

  • Keon Benton of Elizabeth, a communications major, received a Bachelor of Arts degree.
  • Diakil McCray of Elizabeth, a psychology major, received a Bachelor of Science degree.


Dr. Harold Robles, co-founder of the Medical Knowledge Institute, delivered the keynote address. The Medical Knowledge Institute (MKI) is an international non-profit organization based in the Netherlands that focuses on education and provides information from the conviction and healthcare is a human right.

Robles were also instrumental in establishing the Desmond Tutu Public Health Lecture Series at American International College.

American International College in Springfield, Mass., is a four-year, private, coeducational institution founded in 1885. AIC offers undergraduate and graduate programs in its schools of Business Administration, Arts, Education and Sciences, Health Sciences, and Continuing and Extended Studies.
