Arts Council Honors Perth Amboy Catholic School Students

PERTH AMBOY — Kerry Dyke and Salvatore Pusillo of Perth Amboy Catholic School were recently honored by The Arts Council Of Princeton for their poetry and artwork.

Dyke read her poem and Pusillo had his artwork displayed on Sunday, June 13 from 3 to 5 p.m. at a publication party at Princeton High School. Their work was chosen from a selection of 2000 entries.

Only 80 entries were chosen statewide and published in “UNDERAGE: An Anthology of Poetry, Prose, and Artwork” by students in grades K through 12.

The Arts Council of Princeton sponsors this community-wide effort to encourage children to express themselves through the literary and visual arts. Their work was submitted by their art teacher, Rose Pennyfeather.
