LINDEN – The city Department of Public Property and Community Services will present the Golden Falcon Baseball Camp in Linden. Sessions will be held from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m., Monday, July 19 to Thursday, July 22. Friday, July 23, is a rain date.
The camp will be held at the Edward Flanagan Little League Complex on South Stiles Street in Linden. It is for boys and girls who will be completing grades K-8 during the 2009-2010 school year.
The Golden Falcon Baseball Camp will be starting its 12th year of developing youth in the game of baseball. The camp has multiple locations throughout northern New Jersey. This is the second year of having the baseball camp in Linden.
The camp is under the direction of Ed Ward, the former assistant baseball coach at Division I New Jersey Institute of Technology. Ward recently completed his 28th season of coaching on the college & high school levels.
Every camper will receive a t-shirt, a camp certificate, and a written evaluation on their performance for the week. The camp offers special awards for the campers that will be given throughout the four days of camp.
