RAHWAY — Nicolas Galette, a second grader in Dyan McMillen’s class at Roosevelt School in Rahway, loves science. His class has been working on an insect unit. They have learned the life sequence of a number of insects. In each science investigation an insect was introduced, and students observed structures and behaviors, they discussed their findings, and asked questions. Galette is pictured observing the life cycle of a painted lady butterfly and the metamorphosis exhibited by the species.
