Telephone Service Outage At Middlesex County Administration Building (Resolved)

Note: As of 3 p.m., telephone service has been restored and the emergency numbers listed below are no longer in service.

NEW BRUNSWICK — Telephone service into the Middlesex County Administration Building and some outlying buildings is currently down due to a Verizon Central Office problem.

“We are well aware of the high priority nature of this outage and have set up emergency phone lines to handle incoming calls during this situation,” said County Administrator John A. Pulomena.

In the event that you are placing a call to a County Office and cannot get through, please dial one of the emergency numbers below and your message will be routed to the proper department:

Notification will be sent as soon as the telephone problem is resolved, officials said.
