History In Wax

RAHWAY — Fourth grade students at Franklin School in Rahway recently held their annual Wax Museum.   In order to prepare for this event, students had to research information and prepare a report on a famous New Jerseyan.  Fellow classmates, parents and teachers came to visit their Wax Museum.   Upon arrival, the visitors at the museum pressed a paper button and then the waxed figure (the student), came to life. The student pretended that they were the famous New Jerseyan, and told the visitor about their life, awards, and accomplishments. Pictured here, Monique Boss portrays legendary jazz singer Sarah Vaughan.
