Piscataway Junior Earns Rensselaer Medal

EDISON — Saheela Ibraheem of Piscataway, a junior at The Wardlaw-Hartridge School in Edison, has been awarded the Rensselaer Medal. Saheela is the daughter of Dr. Sarafa Ibraheem and Mrs. Shakirat Ibraheem.

The Medal is awarded to recognize the superlative academic achievement of young men and women, and to motivate students toward careers in science, engineering, and technology. It is awarded to promising secondary school juniors who have distinguished themselves in mathematics and science.

This $15,000 per year merit scholarship is guaranteed for four years (five years for the School of Architecture program) to be applied to the tuition for each medalist who is accepted and chooses to enroll at Rensselaer.
