RAHWAY — Rahway High School senior Adam Staryak is joined by his parents, Rahway School Board President Michael Staryak and Kim Staryak as he receives a $1,000 scholarship from the Bayway Complex Advisory Council. This scholarship is one of four scholarships made possible by ConocoPhillips Bayway Refinery, Infineum USA L.P., DuPont and Cogen Technologies Linden Venture L.P., which are member companies of the Bayway CAP. The scholarship is awarded to four individuals from Linden, Rahway, Staten Island and Elizabeth who plan to pursue careers in engineering, industrial technology or process technology.
Staryak will be attending Villanova University in the fall, where he plans to study engineering.
