RAHWAY – RSI Bank and the YMCA of Eastern Union County’s Rahway Branch continue to work together to the health and well-being of families, children, adults and seniors served by the YMCA in Avenel, Colonia, Carteret, Linden, Rahway and Winfield Park.

A committed and continuous patron of the Rahway Branch since 1996, when it was acquired by the YMCA of Eastern Union County, and for many years prior when the Rahway YMCA was an independent branch, RSI Bank has been a devoted sponsor. The bank recently presented the Rahway Branch with a $5,000 annual donation to support the YMCA’s efforts to improve the health and well-being of the local community.

This gift helps the YMCA continue to work with 7th grade students and teens. The YMCA is committed to serving teens. To this end all 7th grader children within the branch’s service area are offered a free full year of membership. Teens are welcomed to join classes and partake of membership privileges including recreational swim and gym time. On Friday nights teens participate in “Teen” and “Tween” night activities lead by committed YMCA staff which foster health in spirit, mind and body.
