EDISON — Incorporating technology into the 21st century classroom, seventh graders in Sofia Tamayo’s Spanish class at The Wardlaw-Hartridge School in North Edison presented Spanish stories to Aurea Hernández-Webster’s second grade Spanish class on May 20.
The elder students used the Microsoft PhotoStory application to create a multi-media presentation in Spanish about their daily routines. The stories were set to music and featured fun photographs and descriptions such as “me despierto por la mañana” (I wake up in the morning) and “Tomo una ducha” (I take a shower). Pictured above, Austin Scudder of Hillside shows his presentation on the SmartBoard in the Middle School Lab to the second graders.
