Powerball Jackpot Climbs To $145 Million

TRENTON – Two lucky New Jersey Lottery players have won the Powerball second prize of $200,000 for the Saturday, May 15 drawing. One winning ticket was sold at Belleville Tobacco & Hobby Center, located in Belleville. Another winning ticket was purchased at Krauszer’s #465, located in North Brunswick.

“Congratulations to Krauszer’s #465 and Belleville Tobacco & Hobby Center ,” said the Lottery’s Acting Executive Director Steven Palmieri. “They have become two of the Lottery’s newest ‘lucky locations’ overnight. For selling this ticket, Belleville Tobacco & Hobby Center and Krauszer’s #465 will each receive bonus checks for $500. ”


While there was no top-prize winner, 44,229 other New Jersey players took home $208,702 in prizes ranging from $3 to $10,000, according to Palmieri.

The winning numbers for the Saturday, May 15 drawing were: 15, 21, 23, 28, and 36 and the Red Power Ball number was 20. The PowerPlay number was 2.

With no winner of the top prize, the Powerball jackpot will roll to $145,000,000 for the next drawing to be held tonight at 11 p.m. on NJN-TV – the New Jersey Network.
