RAHWAY — In April, several students from Rahway High School attended male empowerment training at a workshop held by Empwer Today’s Youth LLC.
Empower Today’s Youth specializes in curriculum design, conference management and parent workshops in collaboration with several local school districts and universities. Skills addressed include leadership, decision-making, financial literacy and responsible citizenship. The scope of the male empowerment program is to enable young men to become effective leaders.
At the conference, Rahway senior Kazim Smith was awarded the Empower Today’s Youth Y-Man of the Year. This is the first year this honor has been awarded.
