Iselin Resident Recognized For “Outstanding Service” By FDU

MADISON— Bobby Lisowski of Iselin was recently honored by Fairleigh Dickinson University and coworkers with the Campus Recognition Award for Outstanding Service to the Campus Community. College at Florham Provost Kenneth Greene presented him with the award.

Lisowski is a senior LAN (Local Area Network) administrator and multimedia specialist in the Computer Services Department. He started working at FDU in 1988, working on the IBM mainframe at the Metropolitan Campus in Teaneck. He stayed there until 1998 when he relocated to the College at Florham. “Bobby works behind the scenes,” said Greene, “keeping the academic computing environment running and evolving and occasionally performing magic tricks to recover email that has ‘suddenly vanished.’”

This award is given out annually to FDU staff members for exceptional service to the FDU community. Candidates are nominated by their peers and the nominations are reviewed by a committee of the previous year’s award winners.
