SPRINGFIELD — The Joint Institute at Saint Barnabas Medical Center will present information about the latest treatments for hip and knee pain on Wednesday, May 26, at 7 p.m. at the Springfield Free Public Library, 66 Mountain Avenue, Springfield. This free program, open to the public, will include a presentation from orthopedic surgeon, Michael H. Rieber, M.D. Registration is desired for this program as seating is limited.
Millions of people suffer from pain in their hips and/or their knees. This seminar will discuss the myriad of treatment options available to address this pain up to and including joint replacement therapy. Each year, hundreds of thousands of people undergo hip or knee replacement surgery.
