Woodbridge Residents Invited To “Go Fly A Kite”

SEWAREN — Woodbridge Township residents are invited to “Go Fly A Kite” this Saturday, May 8, at the annual competition at the Alvin P. Williams Memorial Park in Sewaren.

The annual “rite-of-spring” kite-flying event is sponsored by the Mayor’s Youth Advisory Committee and the Woodbridge Township Department of Recreation & Resident Services.  Prizes and certificates will be awarded for the best homemade and store-bought kites, the smallest, largest, and most unusual kite, and for the kite that stays in the air the longest.
