EDISON—Making it Possible to end Homelessness (MIPH) raised about $10,000 at its walkathon Sunday, May 2 at Middlesex County College. The nonprofit organization provides housing and support for homeless individuals and families in Middlesex County. The Woodbridge School System was especially supportive of this year’s efforts. From left, Guy Catapano, vice president of MIPH; Ryan Vazquez, a third grader in Woodbridge; Sparkee, the Somerset Patriots’ mascot, who was on hand to entertain the crowd and start the walk; Andrea Krich, MIPH executive director; and Joann La Perla-Morales, president of Middlesex County College and MIPH board member.
