Linden Gas Station Attendant Robbed

LINDEN – Two men robbed a station attendant at a Linden gas station Friday night, according to police.

Police responded to a reported robbery at the Shell Gas Station on West Edgar Road at 9:20 p.m. on April 30. The victim, 56, told officers that he was approached by a black man, about 18-19 years old, who placed an object against his ribcage and demanded money.

The station attendant told police that he surrendered over $300 cash. The robber met up with a heavyset black man, approximately 35 years old, and both suspects fled south on South Wood Avenue according to police.
