High School Students Host a Benefit for Earthquake Victims

PERTH AMBOY – On May 1, Perth Amboy High School will be hosting an “International Festival-United for All” Benefit to aid the earthquake relief efforts in Haiti and Chile. The whole community is invited to attend this event, which will last from noon to 4 p.m.

“I feel it’s important not to forget the damage the natural disasters have caused to the people of Haiti and Chile,” stated Rozalia Czaban, principal of Perth Amboy High School. “They need our support and that is why I hope a lot of the Perth Amboy High School students and the Perth Amboy community attends to show their support.”

The activities held will include sports, arcade games, vendors, music and refreshments, information booths, and live entertainment (produced by Perth Amboy Public School students). A five dollar donation per person will be collected at the door.
