Newark Bears Host Pasta In The Park

NEWARK—The Newark Bears will host Pasta in the Park at Riverfront Stadium on Saturday, April 24 at 6 p.m. followed by the excitement of the Newark Bears vs. the Camden Riversharks. Tickets are $10 per person and include pasta dinner, game and fireworks.

The April 25 Komen North Jersey Race For the Cure® is a 5K run/walk or a 1.5 mile fun walk designed to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research and life-saving  breast health programs for uninsured women and men throughout northern New Jersey.

Race day activities include a survivor celebration, entertainment by KISS FM and the fabulous show band, The Infernos, an exposition site with product sampling from national and local sponsors as well as from breast health, fitness and nutrition businesses. The North Jersey Affiliate was founded in 1997 and serves nine-counties in northern New Jersey: Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Morris, Passaic, Somerset, Sussex, Union and Warren.  Seventy-five percent (75 %) of net funds raised by the Affiliate stays in the Affiliate’s service region to support education, screening and treatment services for uninsured populations; the remaining twenty-five percent (25%) is directed to research to find the cures.
