Linden School Holds Pep Rally To Motivate Students For State Test

LINDEN—Linden School No. 1 recently held a “NJ ASK Pep Rally” to motivate students to excel on the state test.

They were encouraged to dance and cheer their way through a high-energy event with each class performing. Skits were performed by students to encourage all to meet the test challenge by studying, getting a good night’s sleep, having a healthy breakfast, and checking their work before turning in their test.

School No. 1 also held an NJ ASK family workshop which gave the parents background knowledge and tools to increase their child’s level of preparedness and confidence in taking the tests.
