New Jersey Sells One Winning $250,000 Ticket As Mega Millions Rolls To $122 Million

TRENTON – One lucky New Jersey Lottery player has won the Mega Millions second prize of $250,000 for the Tuesday, April 13 drawing.

The winning ticket, which was sold in Monmouth County, was purchased at Maio’s Medicine Chest, located at 345 Union Hill Road in Manalapan.

“Congratulations to Maio’s Medicine Chest ,” said the Lottery’s Acting Executive Director Steven Palmieri. “ For selling this ticket, they will receive a bonus check for $500. They have become one of the lottery’s most recent ‘lucky locations’ overnight.”

While there was no top-prize winner, 56,223 other New Jersey players took home $260,427 in prizes ranging from $2 to $10,000, according to Palmieri.

The winning numbers for the Tuesday, April 13 drawing were: 03, 12, 27, 39, and 47 and the Gold Mega Ball number was 32. With no winner of the top prize, the Mega Millions jackpot will roll to $122 million for the next drawing to be held Friday, April 16 at 11 p.m. on NJN-TV – the New Jersey Network.

The prize in New Jersey’s other multi-state lottery game, Powerball, stands at $175 million for tonight’s drawing.
