NEW BRUNSWICK – George Street Playhouse will donate a portion of the proceeds from ticket sales to the Saturday, April 17, matinee performance of “A Canine Comedy” to All-Star Pet Rescue.

The play, written by A.R. Gurney and directed by David Saint, features Saturday Nigh Live alumna Rachel Dratch as Slyvia the dog. What is your dog really thinking? Meet recent empty nesters, Kate and Greg. And Sylvia, the street-smart mutt who becomes a major bone of contention between them.

Tickets for the 2 p.m. show are $40. Use the coupon code ALLSTAR when you purchase your tickets online at www.gsponline.org or call Michelle at 1-732-846-2895 x134 and $10 from each ticket purchase will be donated to All-Star Pet Rescue.
