FANWOOD—The Fanwood Performing Arts Series is set to begin on April 10, at 7 p.m. at the Patricia M. Kuran Cultural Center (the historic carriage house). The spring series will also include performances on May 8 and June 12.
Last season, six concerts were presented between April and November. These concerts ranged in style from classical, baroque, and jazz, to bluegrass and folk. The concerts featured both local musicians, as well as performers from outside the tri-state area.
The April performance will feature Tom Bowes and Kathy Moser. Tom Bowes is a premier vocalist as well as a talented songwriter. In his seven years as the lead singer of the legendary Tower of Power, Tom Bowes garnered nothing but rave reviews.
Kathy Moser is a songwriter, performer, teacher and social artist, working to bring positive change to the world through music. She performs and tours nationally.
Refreshments will be sold on the patio before the performance and during the intermission.
The suggested donations for the Fanwood Performing Arts Series are $7, ($5 for seniors and students), parking is free, and the refreshments are inexpensive.
