SUMMIT – The Coalition on Family Caregiving invites the public to their upcoming workshop on Thursday, April 29 at the Westfield Presbyterian Church, 140 Mountain Avenue at 7 p.m.
This valuable program entitled “Eldercare Planning, Not Reacting” addresses caregivers who share the common issues of being overwhelmed and under informed when an older adult needs their help.
The panel presentation will be moderated by Susan Devaney, CEO of Moving Mavins and will feature four experts: Maryann Porosky, Care Management Specialist at Caring Choices, Candy Blau, Client Relations Director at Freedom Elder Care, Linda Haze, Reverse Mortgage consultant at Wells Fargo and Gene Rosner, elder law attorney at Fink, Rosner, Ershow-Levenberg.
This panel of speakers will explain ways to avoid costly mistakes, both emotional and legal by planning now rather than facing a crisis unprepared. They will discuss choosing the right venue for care, whether it be your home or a nursing home and minimizing the financial and legal impact it can have on your family and loved ones.
There is no charge for this presentation. Advance reservations are requested by confirming your attendance by calling 1-973-627-4087 by April 20 or via email at caringchoicesgcm.com.
