CLARK—Clark Recreation is looking for all women that want to get fit, keep active, and have fun with their friends and neighbors playing the sport of softball.

Beginners are welcome; this is a non-competitive league that just wants to have fun! Non-residents are welcome as well, however players must be 25 years or older to participate. Registration forms are available at the Clark Recreation Center at 430 Westfield Avenue, Clark.

The season will begin on May 25 and will last for eight weeks completing at least 10 games. The games will be played either at the high school or on the lower softball field at the recreation center complex.

Bats, bases, balls, and catcher’s equipment will be supplied by the recreation department. Players will be responsible for a glove and cleats, which must be worn on the field.

“If you are an overly competitive person, lose your temper easily, have no patience, or cannot get along with others, then we recommend another program for you,” Clark Recreation Director Ralph Bernardo said.
