The two men asked him, “Hey, you got a pizza?” The victim told police that he felt something wasn’t right, so he told the men, “just take my money, and stay away,” police said. The men punched the driver in the face and head, knocking him to the ground, police said.

The robbers took $40 in cash from the deliveryman’s pocket and fled on foot north on Clinton Street, police said.

The suspects were about 6 feet tall and were wearing dark-colored clothing. One was fat and the other was skinny, according to police.

Police ask anyone with information on this crime to contact Det. John Johnston at 1-908-474-8550.
