College Alumni Association to Host Food Tasting

EDISON—Restaurants from all over the area will be offering samples of their best dishes at the Middlesex County College Alumni Association food tasting on Wednesday, April 21. The event, which will run from 6-9 p.m., is a fundraiser for the association’s scholarship fund.

“We anticipate 30 high-quality restaurants will set up tables in the College Center and offer small samples of their best items,” said Doug Wilson, member of the Alumni Association’s Board of Trustees. “The public is invited to visit each and see what they have to offer. We expect to have diverse types of restaurants participating in this program, which is called An Evening of Good Taste for the Educated Palate.”


The cost is $30 in advance and $35 at the door, all of which goes toward the scholarship fund.

Restaurants that will be participating include Akbar Restaurant, Blue Moon Café, Bud’s Hut Steak & Seafood, Casa Giuseppe Fine Italian Dining, Casa Nova 68, Chipotle Mexican Grill, Corner Pub & Grill, Crowne Plaza Edison – (Christie’s Steakhouse), Cutting Board Caterers, Ed & Mary’s Hall, Edible Arrangements, Gourmet Dining, Little Spain Restaurant, Luciano’s Ristorante, Maggie Moo’s, McDonagh’s Pub, Middlesex County College’s Hotel, Restaurant and Institution Management Department, Mona Lisa Bakery & Pancake House from Brooklyn, Novita Bistro & Lounge, Panchero’s Mexican Grill, Pasquale’s Ristorante Italiano, Pithari Taverna, P.K.’s Café, Pollo Tropical, Renaissance Woodbridge – Olio Restaurant, Rosewood Caterers, Salsa Latina Restaurant, Seabra’s Armory Restaurant, Skylark Fine Diner & Lounge, Spice Melange, and Woodbridge Hilton – Spats Steakhouse & Romulus  Restaurants.
