Bringing Books To Life

RAHWAY—The students in Alicia Scipioni’s second grade class at Franklin School just finished reading the story, ‘Goodbye Curtis’.  The story is about a letter carrier who had been delivering mail for 42 years and was about to retire.

After reading the story, the students created their own unique stamps and wanted to learn more about a letter carrier’s career so they invited letter carrier Deonard Juett from the Rahway Post Office to visit.  Photo courtesy of Franklin School
