Cranford Welcomes Presidents And Their First Ladies

William and Sue Wills will portray Andrew and Eliza Johnson next month

CRANFORD—The Friends of the Cranford Public Library invite the public to enjoy a dramatic portrayal of Andrew and Eliza Johnson by Presidents and Their First Ladies, Dramatically Speaking, a two-person troupe comprised of William and Sue Wills.

The program will take place on Thursday, April 15, at 7:30 p.m. in the Cranford Community Center, 220 Walnut Avenue.

Since 1997 the Wills have portrayed 31 different First Couples.  Using dialect, emotions and costumes, their dramatically read dialogues humanize the names in our history books.

More information about Presidents and Their First Ladies, Dramatically Speaking is available on their Web site at
Admission to the program is free and all are welcome.
