Bank Honors Clark Firefighters

CLARK—Investors Savings Bank is honoring the volunteer firefighters in the Clark Fire Department by placing a circa 1938 photograph of the fire company’s members on the community wall of the new Investors’ branch at 77 Central Avenue.

The branch stands on the former site of Clark Township’s firehouse and municipal building. Clark Firefighter Tommy Westerland’s father was a member of the department during the 1930s and Tommy Westerland, Sr. is in the photo.

Standing in the Investors Savings Bank branch, which will host a grand opening celebration on Saturday, April 17, are (from left to right): Clark Township’s Recreation Director Ralph Bernardo, Council President and Fire Department Liaison Al Barr, Firefighter Westerland, Investors’ Regional Manager MaryRose Genovese, Fire Chief Andy Beach, Investors’ Branch Manager Michael Tyrone and Council Member and Town Historian Brian Toal.
