LINDEN – Someone shot at a car stopped at a red traffic light on North Stiles Street and West St. Georges Avenue on Saturday night, Linden police said.

On March 20, a 27-year-old Linden man told police that someone shot at his 1997 Toyota Camry when he was stopped at the intersection at about 10:30 p.m. He heard two apparent gun shots and discovered a small hole in his driver door once he got home, police said.

The victim reported seeing a midnight-blue late model Ford Mustang and a sporty white BMW 535 pass the intersection when he heard the shots, but never saw a gun according to police.

Officers searched the area for shell casings, but did not recover any evidence.
