Police Investigated Linden Burglary

LINDEN – A 51-year-old resident of Ercama Street was the victim of a Friday afternoon burglary, Linden police said.

On March 19, officers responded to the 800 block of Ercama Street to investigated a break-in. The victim told police that she left her house at 1:10 p.m. and returned 20 minutes later to find that her rear door had been forced open. A jewelry box with various rings and bracelets had been taken from her bedroom, she told police.

A neighbor told officers that she saw a middle-aged black man exit a small, dark colored vehicle and go up to the victim’s front door while she was away. Police were not able to locate a suspect.
