RAHWAY—On March 2, students at Franklin School celebrated Read Across America Day. Celebrated on Dr. Suess’ birthday, this day is used to encourage students to continue reading, and to show the enjoyment one can get from books. This year’s theme was books from around the world in celebration of the 20th anniversary of Dr. Seuss’ book “Oh, the Places You’ll Go!” Various community members read books to students.  Pictured here, pre-kindergarten students in Kathleen Harris’ class are greeted by the Cat in the Hat, perhaps Seuss’s most recognizable character.
