Carteret Church To Host Pro Wrestling Benefit

CARTERET—Holy Family Church will once again team up with National Wrestling Superstars to host a huge all-star benefit show on Friday night, April 16, with a 7:45 p.m. bell time.

And as far as “huge” goes, they don’t come any more huge than the headliner that night, a former star of the WWE universe and a member of the legendary Samoan wrestling family, the one and only Rikishi.

Also on the bill will be a rematch of sorts from February’s Tag-Team J-Cup Tournament in nearby Woodbridge, as central Jersey local favorites The Jock Mafia (Mike Dennis & Chris D’Andrea) will once again tangle with the as-of-late devastating tag-team known as The Commandos (“The Love Machine” Nicky Oceans & “Too Cocky” Kevin Matthews).

And that is just the tip of the proverbial iceberg, with much more in store.

Ticket prices are only $18 for adults and $15 for kids & seniors, and are available locally at: Carteret Family Hair Care, 771D Roosevelt Avenue in the Shop Rite Plaza; Krauszers Convenience Store, 129 Washington Avenue, Carteret; Krauszers, 643 Port Reading Avenue, Port Reading; and BK Corner Deli, 613 Rahway Avenue, Woodbridge.

For more information or to charge tickets by phone, call the NWS box office at 1-732-888-1704. Holy Family Church is located at 213 Pershing Avenue in Carteret, just off Washington and Roosevelt avenues, minutes from the NJ Turnpike.
