Benedictine Academy Announces 2nd Quarter Honor Roll

ELIZABETH—Benedictine Academy, an all-female Catholic college prep high school in Elizabeth, has released its second quarter honor roll. Thirty-six students at the Academy were named based on outstanding academic performance.

Named to first honors:  Grade 12- Aimiosinor Igetei of Hillside and Gabrielle Teixeira of Newark; Grade 9- Samantha Herrejon of Union.

First honors students must maintain a 93 average and above in all subjects.

Achieving second honors recognition at Benedictine Academy were:
Grade 12- Diane Araujo of Newark; Natasha Ballah of Irvington; Cindy Carpintero, Barbara Diogo and Priscille Dossekou, all of Newark; Stephanie Gaspar of Elizabeth; Jordan Jenkins of Newark; Thanita Kennedy and Danah Lewis, both of Hillside; Delecia McPherson of Irvington; and Stephanie Sergent-Rojas of Elizabeth.

Grade 11- Geraline Arroyo of Union; Emilie Burke of Colonia; Alexandra DePena of Union; Chisom Emeana of Hillside; Chelsea Odufo of Newark; Alicia Onacki of Roselle; and Sara Pereira of Elizabeth.

Grade 10- Melanie Achariam of Elizabeth; Dinh Do of Union and Ariana Taveras of Newark.

Grade 9- Kai Alexander of Irvington; Kelly Amorim and Krystal Burns, both of Newark; Michelle Colonia of Elizabeth; Tabitha Davis of Irvington; Norky Diaz of Newark; Samantha Frejuste of Irvington; Shervonne Gittens of Elizabeth; Heidy Isabel of Bloomfield; Maria Jose Prendez of Elizabeth; Deja Rudolph of Linden and Anglin Thevarajh of Irvington.

Second honors students at Benedictine Academy must maintain an 83 average and above in all subjects.
