Thrift Shop Offers Easter Egg Hunt For Savings

SCOTCH PLAINS—Best Friend Dog and Animal Adoption will hold an Easter egg hunt at the thrift store from Tuesday, March 23, through Saturday, April 3. Simply come into the store and draw an Easter egg filled with a savings discount.  You can save 20, 30 or even 50 percent on each shopping trip you make to the store.

The store is located at 1750 East Second Street, Scotch Plains and is open from 10:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. every day except Sunday and Monday.  For information call 1-732-388-8930.

The store offers a selection of Easter bunnies and items for sale.  There are also new hats, scarves, belts, hair accessories, perfume and jewelry for the spring season.

The shop is currently accepting donations of merchandise  — jewelry, collectibles, records, CDs, DVDs, books, seasonal clothing, small furniture, and gardening items are some of the things accepted.

The group is also accepting donations of dog and cat food, litter for their foster animals in need.

Best Friend Dog and Animal Adoption is a not for profit, all volunteer rescue group that operates the shop in order to help rescue animals from the pound.
