UNION—Kean Stage will commemorate Holocaust Remembrance Day (Yom Hashoah) by presenting The Carolyn Dorfman Dance Company in The Legacy Project on Sunday, April 11 at 3 p.m.
Using inventive choreography, original music compositions and evocative metaphors, The Legacy Project offers audiences the dance equivalent of a cherished book of family photographs. With depth, humor and reverence, Dorfman draws on the rich Jewish legacy, its history, philosophy, traditions, gestures, music and liturgy to create work that is honestly personal yet powerfully universal.
Tickets are $25 for adults; $15 for seniors; and $10 for children.
Kean University is located at 1000 Morris Avenue in Union. Tickets are available at the Wilkins Theatre Box Office, 1-908-737-SHOW (7469), and online at www.keanstage.com.
