Bank, Medical/Dental Staff Honored By Hospital Foundation

John Alexander, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Northfield Bank, will accept the Order of the Rose award on behalf of the bank.

RAHWAY — The Robert Wood Johnson Rahway Foundation and the Rose Ball Committee will honor Northfield Bank the hospital’s medical/dental staff this year, according to Christine Kline, Rose Ball chairman.

The honors will be bestowed at the 21st annual gala to be held on Saturday evening, April 24, at the Hotel Westminster in Livingston.  Reservations are $225 per person.


Northfield Bank has shown outstanding commitment through leadership and philanthropic support to RWJ Rahway, according to foundation officials. Through the years, both Northfield Bank and the Northfield Bank Foundation have supported many initiatives including the Fund for Technology Advancement, Cardiac Unit and Telemetry Upgrades and the Helping Hands Fund.

In 2009, the Northfield Bank Foundation’s 1st Annual Charity Golf Outing benefited the hospital’s Emergency Services.  The bank will be presented with the Order of the Rose at this year’s ball.

The foundation is proud to honor their partners in healthcare, the RWJ Rahway Medical/Dental Staff for their 93 years of service, strong medical expertise, and compassion to their patients and the community. They will be inducted into the Guardians of the Rose.
