CLARK—Students at Mother Seton Regional High School, Clark, will be performing in “High School Musical 2” at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday evenings, March 26 and March 27. A matinee performance is scheduled for Sunday, March 28 at 2 p.m. All performances will be held in the school auditorium.
The play is under the direction of Peggy Hak and Sister Theo Furniss serves as play coordinator. Lauren Mateo of Iselin, portrays Gabriella while Joseph Ventura of Westfield is appearing as Troy. Hannah Clark of Scotch Plains will portray Sharpay, Soley Esteves of Avenel is cast as Martha and Megan Garbarino of Carteret, is Kelsi.
The role of Miss Fulton is played by Bintu Conteh of New Brunswick. Cast as Jackie is D’Ana Glenn of West Orange, and Takisha Pierre of Irvington plays Taylor. Featured are Paul Rosato, of Woodbridge as Jack, Carlo Austria of Metuchen as Chad and Anthony Green of Iselin, as Zeke.
Portraying the Sharpettes are: Shannon Alexander of Linden, Rachel del Valle of Newark, Sarah Derderian of East Brunswick, Katie Laico of Edison, Patricia Rosato of Woodbridge and Catherine Serzan of Westfield. The stage managers for the show are Maddie Holt of Fanwood, Andrea Whittle of Edison, Lauren and Brianne Blauvelt of Colonia and Kelly O’Boyle of Edison.
Choreography is under the direction of Megan Ferentinos. Carol Henderson is in charge of costumes. Special lighting effects are provided by Joseph Guenther of Clark. Ashlee Foster of Clark, and Cristina Venture of Westfield, are in charge of sound production. Set design is headed by Jack Duffy of Cranford.
