Clean Out Your Closets & Support 4-H

EAST BRUNSWICK—It’s time to clean out your closets to support a good cause. The Middlesex County 4-H Teen Council will host a Clothing Drive at the 4-H Center, 645 Cranbury Road, in East Brunswick.

Interested participants are encouraged to bring old and used items including clothing, shoes, handbags, stuffed animals and household linens (such as towels, blankets, curtains and sheets). All donations should be packed in sturdy plastic trash bags.

Collection Dates at the 4-H Center

  • Wednesday, April 7 from 7-9 p.m.
  • Thursday, April 8 from 7—9 p.m.
  • Wednesday, April 14 from 5-8:30 p.m.

Drop-offs can also be made at the 4-H Office during office hours (8:30-4:00 p.m.) only.

The organization is also accepting gently used plastic toys, which will be donated to Second Chance Toys. Toys and clothing should be bagged separately.

Proceeds from the Clothing Drive will be used to support the Middlesex County 4-H program.
