ELIZABETH – The Small Business Development Center (NJSBDC) at Kean University has partnered with the City of Elizabeth to host a series of free, bi-weekly workshops for Elizabeth residents and small business owners on the topics of starting or establishing a small business.
Representatives from the NJSBDC at Kean will host these seminars – all held on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to noon – in the New Jersey Department of Labor Building, Business Resource Center, 2nd floor, 921 Elizabeth Ave., Elizabeth.
Elizabeth residents who have considered starting their own business or have a hobby or skill they’d like to use to generate income, or current Elizabeth business owners who need ideas on how to grow their business in a stalled economy, are encouraged to attend.

In addition to these workshops, free one-on-one counseling sessions are available at the Business Resource Center.
